Job Description: 
Assists the Regional Fisheries Biologist in carrying out all fishery management and research activities in support of this Region s freshwater fishery resources. Assists in developing and evaluating stocking programs, fishery regulations, and habitat assessments. Develops and implements comprehensive fishery inventory and monitoring programs and provides technical support to the Department, other state and federal agencies, and a variety of public groups. Represents the Department at public meetings and routinely analyzes fishery data and prepares technical reports.
Qualifications: 
BS in Biology, Fisheries/Wildlife Management, or a closely related field AND two years of progressively responsible experience in fishery management/research. Oral and written communication skills will be heavily weighed in the selection process.
Salary: 
$37,835.20 to $51,188.80
