McIntosh County- Altamaha WMA Job Description:
This position is a member of a team that manages a complex waterfowl management area. Primary responsibilities will be maintenance and management of the waterfowl impoundments, however this position will also be required to assist throughout the region where needed.
Qualifications:
Completion of coursework equivalent to an Associate’s degree in Wildlife Management or a related field
OR
Two years of experience in the Wildlife Resources Division as a Wildlife Technician 1 which included responsibilities in game or non-game management.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preference may be given to applicants with game management or other natural resources experience.
Preference may be given to applicants with waterfowl management experience.
Preference may be given to applicants with farming and/or heavy equipment experience.
Preference may be given to applicants that possess Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
