Are you interested in forest hydrology and soil carbon research? If so, then consider this opportunity to provide professional expertise with the Forest Soil and Water Research Program at the Ontario Forest Research Institute. You will provide professional expertise and assistance with the implementation and maintenance of forest carbon research projects. This will be accomplished through report writing, publishing journal articles and technical reports, conducting field sampling, and carrying out statistical analyses, model calibration, execution, and testing.

Qualifications: Post-graduate degree in biology, chemistry, mathematics, forestry or closely related field; sound knowledge in forest soils and hydrological processes; demonstrated knowledge in experimental design, spatial statistical methods and analytical/modeling approaches; proven communication skills and report writing ability; demonstrated field research skills; good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team; experience in database management, statistical analysis, graphics, word processing and spreadsheets.

Salary range $924.96 - $1,084.87 per week
