Assistant Professor

Position
Assistant Professor, Full Time 12 month, Tenure Track. 70% Extension /30% Instruction

Responsibilities
Duties may include but not be limited to the following:

 Develop and provide leadership for Extension Education program
 Teach courses in Agricultural Extension and Leadership
 Design and conduct evaluations for Extension programs
 Recruit, advise, and mentor undergraduate and graduate students
 Develop a strong area of scholarship and scholarly publishing
 Generate external funding
 Serve on Departmental, College, and University Committees
 Perform duties consistent with the overall effort of the Department

Qualifications
 Earned Doctorate in Agricultural Leadership, Communication, Education, or closely related field is required.
 Strong background and/or interest in Extension Education
 Experience in Program Evaluation

The University of Georgia Campus, Athens, Georgia

Salary
The salary range will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
