JOB SUMMARY:
National Marine Fisheries Service is dedicated to stewardship of our
nation's living marine resources and habitat through scientific
research, management and enforcement. NMFS provides effective
stewardship to benefit the nation through domestic and international
programs supporting coastal communities that depend upon the
resources, while providing safe and healthy seafood to consumers and
recreational opportunities.
The incumbent will perform as a Biological Technician for Pacific
Islands Fisheries Science Center of the National Marine Fisheries
Service.

Qualifications: KEY REQUIREMENTS: Applications will only be accepted from United States citizens. Required to participate in research cruises for up to 100 days/year. Required to have Scientific Diver Certification. Required to work in a small boat for up to 10 hrs/day in a tropical climate
